Got some more new protos yesterday
Saga palpatine no copyrights (should look cool with my mockup)
Blue r-3p0 with no copyrights (slightly deformed right leg)
Ig-88
ROTS exploding grievous no copyrights
POTF2 emperor palpatine in awesome clear pink and blue with white head. Possibly an early idea for the holographic palpatines that came out later???

That has to be one of the neatest proto stories that I've heard in a long time. I met Richard at one of the Celebrations and was quite pleased with the experience. He's a funny guy so I can totally see him flipping out over a first shot.

He definately was a character. Probably one of the funniest sw celeb I've met. His first phrase when he actually saw it was "What the hell it this? It looks like a sex toy!" |

Got these in the mail yesterday and today
ctc v2 Holographic Nute Gunray chip and unproduced figure
and another loose commtech v2 chip for the break apart Darth Maul
Group shot of all my ctc v2 stuff thus far (I'm getting there slowly)

Great group shot!! Loving the Nute and chip. It doesn't get better than 2 unproduced pieces.
*EDIT* BTW that group shot is what I was talking about in the thread with your display cabinet. The Carded CTC2 gets lost in the cabinet but that CTC2 group shot, SUHWEET! It totally gives the attention it deserves. Perfect IMO.
So, since I was talking about complete sets in the other thread, what's your goal? Complete set of chips? Chips and figures? I think a complete set, or close to, of chips with either FS or HCs would be cool.

Thanks John, I've been wanting a holo nute figure for a while so I figured I'd jump on this chance to get both while it was available.
I'd like to have a complete set of chips with firstshots (with maybe a hardcopy or 2) AND a set of 7 carded BUT thats gonna be pretty tough to complete so I'm thinking realisticly I'll try to go for a set of loose chips (i'm about to buy another I hope next week) with as many of the corresponding figures fs or hcs I can get and just pic up more carded when I can and see what I end up with. Should be a fun focus though. |
